The first pint is that most of the DSL modems are external to the computer. So if there is any fault it prevents the inconvenience of correcting the entire system. DSL modems use frequencies from 25 kHz to above 1MHz.

Independent services,Security,Integration,High bandwidth and Cheap line charges from the phone company are the other advantages.

What do you mean by security. How far is it good in terms of that. Do you mean that hackers will not target the DSL connection. Can you provide more details.
